Do you feel the pull within, to be in sacred ceremony and remind yourself of your inner wisdom?
The Wheel of the Year is a calendar that reflects the seasonal cycles and rhythms of the natural world, rooted in ancient Celtic pagan traditions. It is used in modern Paganism, Wicca, and Druidry to celebrate the turning of the seasons and the connection between humanity and nature.
The Wheel consists of eight festivals, evenly spaced throughout the year, which are divided into four solar festivals (solstices and equinoxes) and four fire festivals (midpoints between them)
What will we do:
I like to keep an element of mysticism and organic spontaneity in these celebrations, however part of the plan includes:
A meditative process: Weaving in and integrating our dance of masculine and feminine qualities
Eggs: I have meticulously blown some eggs which we will be painting with our intentions of rebirth for Spring
The painting can also take the form of our own lovely decoration, and even fill the eggs with a talisman of herbs and resins to aid our journey from birthing towards outward expression.
I also bake a small treat that is symbolic to the celebration, should you wish to make any additional offerings, please feel free to bring anything.
I like to keep these evenings organic, so let's be open to whatever else magically unfolds
