Dance Of The Hummingbird

Welcome to my blog.

Be inspired along your journey.

My website began with this blog. Initially called “The Search of the Hummingbird”, I started with musings on a lifelong Soul dream of a solo trip through India and Nepal. I soon discovered that what I have been searching for, has been within me all along… I discovered that I am a Hummingbird, flying from flower to flower, discovering all the sweetness life has to offer, cross-pollinating the world with my knowledge and everything I have to offer, so that others may bloom and grow. And so, as I continue to embody this beautiful trait of being a hummingbird; my blog has evolved to share my experiences and curiosity driven thoughts in this joyful Dance that we call Life.

The Role of Women’s Circles in Remembering Who We Are

For generations, women have gathered to share wisdom, support, and strength. When I look back at the ancient cultures and communities that I draw inspiration from and revere (Celtic, South African, Peruvian and more), they recognized how much power resided in women coming together. Gatherings are historically spiritual spaces of empowerment and healing, particularly those led by women. In our modern society, intentional shared spaces allow us to pause and reconnect with practices of self-reflection, mindfulness, and mutual support. Women’s gatherings allow us to honor the wisdom of our past, connect to our intuition and each other in the present, and create ripples of healing for the future.

The Magic of Sacred Circles

Over the last few years, I have witnessed the growth of Cacao circles. This evokes mixed feelings in me - while I am glad to see Cacao celebrated and reaching more people, I am also fiercely protective of how she is honored and shared.

As sacred space holders, we have a big responsibility to create and maintain a safe environment for collective energy transformation and inner exploration. Circles rooted in ancient traditions are where profound connection, healing and transformation happens. When we talk about holding space for this depth of connection, it’s important to recognize the immense duty that comes with it.

Durga Puja – the celebration of the Divine Mother

I only started learning about the Goddess Durga about 6 months ago. I can’t remember what started my curiosity, but what resonated with me was that she is presented as “Shakti”, or the female principle of divine energy.
