Rooted in the Old Ways:

A Pilgrimage of Remembering & Sovereignty

Glastonbury & Somerset

22 July- 27 July 2026

Wednesday to Monday
5 Nights · 6 Days

Flower-covered well with a lantern hanging inside, surrounded by flowers and plants, against a stone wall and steps.

I invite you to join me as we bathe in the White Spring, chant and sing in circle on the Tor at sunrise, sip the sacred waters of the Chalice Well, and listen to the whispers of the medicine of the hawthorn trees…

This is a place that is sacred to me, and now, it is time to share it with all of you…

Experience the vibrations of the ley lines beneath your feet and the steady pulse of the Earth’s heart chakra moving through your body.

We will dance in stone circles, laugh under the stars, howl at the moon and cry around sacred fires where nothing needs to be held back…

Your hands will rest on the trunks of ancient trees in sacred forests, and you will hear their whispers saying, “welcome home.”

You may move through the mystery of Arthurian legend and feel the awakening of the Divine Goddess within you — not as an idea, but as a lived, embodied knowing.
To remember your wisdom from lifetimes of herbcraft and magick.

You may also delight in the quirks and humour of this place — feeling like you’ve stepped into Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley as you wander the High Street, enthralled by shops filled with magick, crystals, and herbs. You may see Merlin chatting with a local shopkeeper, or someone wearing a halo and fairy wings on their way to work.

I cannot describe in words the initiation and activation these lands bring — the storytelling, the mystical, the vibrations, the glimpses of the past on every corner.

But I can show you, so you can feel it for yourself…

Come with me into the land of magick.

Why Glastonbury?

  • Glastonbury sits at the intersection of several energetic ley lines, long associated with sacred sites and pilgrimage routes

  • The area has been a spiritual centrefor thousands of years, with layers of Pagan, Druidic, Christian, and Arthurian history

  • It is often described by researchers and spiritual geographers as the “heart chakra” of Mother Earth due to its long-standing role as a place of healing, reconciliation, and devotion

  • The landscape itself — the Tor, Chalice Well, and surrounding wetlands — has been used for ritual, prayer, and pilgrimage since ancient times

  • Many people report a strong sense of heightened awareness or “thin veil” here, likely influenced by the density of sacred sites and uninterrupted ceremonial use of the land

  • The UK, and Glastonbury in particular, offers rare continuity of spiritual practice, where ancient traditions remain embedded in the land and culture rather than reconstructed

The images include a cemetery with headstones, a sunset over a rural landscape, a graveyard with a lone tree, a red-brick house with a garden, a tower at sunset, a garden with patio furniture, an interior of a rustic room with a wooden door, a grassy field with picnic tables, and a large tree in an open area.

Accommodation

22–24 July | Glastonbury

Two nights shared accommodation in a welcoming Phoenix Rise Retreat B&B in Glastonbury— a comfortable, grounding base as we arrive, settle, and begin attuning to the land. Nestled at the base of the Tor, and a ripple away from the Sacred wellsprings, this place oozes the vibrations of these lands.

24–27 July | The Apothecary Gardens

Three nights immersed in the beauty of The Apothecary Gardens — a sacred, nature-rich sanctuary where the deeper rites of the pilgrimage unfold. A working apothecary, distilling roses, and other magical plants, we have our own private stone circle, fire pit and gardens for sacred ritual.

A group of people dressed in traditional Scottish clothing, including kilts and shawls, holding hands in a circle outside an ancient stone tower, with a scenic landscape and blue sky in the background.

This Pilgrimage Is For You If…

This pilgrimage is for women who feel the stirring of the Wild Feminine within them.

It is for the Wild Woman who longs to run barefoot through ancient lands, to howl, to laugh, to weep, and to feel her body as a living prayer.
It is for the Crone who carries deep knowing in her bones — wisdom earned through living, loving, losing, and becoming — and who feels the call to remember what she has always known.

This pilgrimage is for you if you:

  • Feel the ache to unleash parts of yourself that have been hidden, muted, or tamed

  • Sense that your wisdom comes not just from books, but from the land, your body, and lived experience

  • Are drawn to earth-based ritual, myth, magick, and ancestral ways of knowing

  • Are standing at a threshold — perimenopause, menopause, grief, rebirth, creative awakening, or a deep internal shift

  • Long to remember who you were before the world told you who to be

This journey honours both the wild and the wise. There is space here for feral joy and deep stillness, for laughter and reverence, for the Maiden’s curiosity, the Mother’s devotion, and the Crone’s truth-speaking — without needing to perform, explain, or soften any of it.

You do not need to arrive fully formed, healed, or certain. You only need the willingness to listen to the voice that has been whispering (or roaring) within you.

If you feel the ancient pull to remember yourself through land, ritual, and sisterhood, this pilgrimage may be calling you home.

The activation

This is a pilgrimage of sovereignty — not the hardened kind, but the gentle power of self-belonging

You’ll be guided to:

  • reconnect with your inner witch and the wisdom of the old ways

  • honour your lineage (blood, earth, spiritual, chosen) with reverence and clarity

  • deepen your relationship with the Divine Feminine as an embodied truth

  • leave with ritual tools and practices you can actually keep living with

There is no pressure to be anyone’s version of “spiritual.”
Only an invitation to be real — and to let the land meet you there.

  • Glastonbury offers several women-only retreats that focus on spiritual growth, healing, and connection to the divine feminine. This retreat is unique in that along with visiting scared sites, we will learn to create tools for magic, remembering our own sovereignty in weaving the old ways

  • We have an opportunity to bathe naked in the white spring (optional) . and I would like to keep this private.

  • Glastonbury is not just a place — it’s a living threshold. A landscape steeped in myth, mystery, and memory, where the veil feels thin and the land itself seems to listen. For thousands of years, people have come here to pray, heal, initiate, and remember who they are.

Often called the Heart Chakra of the world, Glastonbury holds a rare convergence of ley lines, sacred wells, ancient pathways, and powerful hills — from the quiet presence of Chalice Well to the watchful spiral of the Tor. There is a softness here that invites deep rest, and a potency that gently stirs transformation.

Retreating in Glastonbury allows you to step out of ordinary time. The land supports inner listening, emotional healing, and spiritual insight with an ease that can feel both subtle and profound. Nature, myth, and spirit weave together, offering a sense of being held by something much older and wiser than the thinking mind.

A retreat here isn’t about escaping life — it’s about remembering your place within it. Glastonbury meets you where you are, and if you listen closely, she quietly reminds you of who you’ve always been.

  • Sacred Wells
The Chalice Well and White Spring have been honoured for thousands of years as places of healing and blessing. In Pagan traditions, sacred wells are gateways—where earth, water, and spirit meet—inviting purification, renewal, and deep inner listening.

    The Crossing of Ley Lines
Glastonbury is believed to sit at the convergence of powerful ley lines, often described as the heart chakra of the world. This crossing creates a palpable sense of balance and coherence, where many feel more grounded, open, and emotionally attuned.

    The Tor as a Threshold
Glastonbury Tor is understood as an axis mundi—a meeting point between heaven, earth, and the underworld. Walking its spiral path mirrors ancient initiatory journeys of descent, vision, and return.

    The Thinning Veil
Many experience Glastonbury as a liminal place where the veil between worlds feels thinner. Intuition sharpens, ancestral wisdom feels closer, and ritual, prayer, and divination deepen with ease.

    Avalon & Living Myth
Long associated with Avalon, Glastonbury carries stories of priestesses, the sacred feminine, and the Grail. Whether held as myth or memory, these stories shape the energetic field of the land, inviting remembrance of earth-honouring spirituality.

    A Land Still in Practice
Glastonbury is not a relic—it is alive with ceremony, pilgrimage, and devotion. This living relationship gives the land its power, welcoming seekers not as observers, but as participants.
