Returning light, spark of life, inner courage.

Brigid’s crosses: woven from rushes/straw, for blessing and protection.

Imbolc

Imbolc (pronounced kind of like “IM-bolk” or “IM-bolc”) is a traditional Pagan festival that marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Think of it as the first real whisper of spring — not spring itself, but the moment the earth starts leaning back toward light.

Awakening deep in the earth, although not yet visible

The Earth Awakening From Dormancy

Imbolc, also known as St Brigid's day, is a time of magical energy related to the feminine aspect of the goddess, of new beginnings, and of fire.

It's also a good time to focus on increasing your own magical gifts and abilities.

Imbolc is the candle in the dark window — the moment you remember that darkness (winter) is not the whole story.

Join us as we weave St Brigid's crosses for our homes, and create some magic to germinate new creative seeds for the year

These celebrations are intimate gatherings at my home
