🌸 Southern Hemisphere – Ostara (Spring Equinox)
Outward, expansive, bright energies begin to rise.
The word Ostara comes from the Germanic goddess Eostre, a fertility goddess — and the origin of the eggs and hare that later became symbols of Easter.
This solar festival celebrates the quickening of life force as we cross the threshold from dark to light.
It reminds us that creation arises from the dance of opposites:
masculine and feminine, light and dark, action and stillness.
These forces are not separate lines — they weave together.
Spring is the visible expression of this union:
🌱 green shoots breaking through dormant soil,
life returning, potential awakening, creativity stirring.
🍂 Norther Hemisphere – Mabon (Autumn Equinox)
Here the energy turns inward.
Mabon marks the gentle descent toward the dark goddess and the wisdom of the inner world.
It is a time of harvesting, storing, releasing and completion.
This threshold invites us to deepen our relationship with endings — and to trust the spiral of life where every ending contains the seed of a new beginning.
Too often we rush through these moments, moving quickly to the next phase without pausing to truly integrate what has been lived.
The Equinox reminds us to inhabit the transition.
To pause.
To reflect.
To honour the cycle.
