Cacao Immersion Playshop
This is a foundational workshop to learn about the spirit of Cacao, the bean to paste process and preparing Cacao for personal use and deepen your connection to cacao for your own personal practice.
Hands on experience with Cacao Trees, Cacao pods, tasting fresh Cacao fruit and sampling differences between Cacao Paste and “Ceremonial Cacao”
This can be done as a stand alone workshop, but is also recommended as part of the Magic of Your Medicine: Spaceholder Training

Bean to Cup practical workshop:
Provided with cacao beans form the Quillabamba Valley, Peru, and Bohol, Phillippines we will complete the entire process of preparing cacao
Getting to know the Cacao tree (yes an actual live tree)
Sampling Cacao Fruit from a Fresh Pod
Slightly roasting and then peeling the beans
grinding the beans to paste
preparing the paste into a cup of cacao, ready to drink
Understanding the growing, harvesting and production methods of Cacao
Understanding the effects of heating and preparing the Cacao in different ways
Understanding Ceremonial Cacao and how is it different from other Cacao Paste and Cacao Powder
Discover the tools used for cacao preparation
Understanding how to honour and respect the cultural history and lineages of Ceremonial Cacao
